CCGrass supplies artificial pitch with twelve years warranty

Dutch football club VV Scharn has a brand new CCGrass artificial pitch.

For VV Scharn, it was installed to the Fifa Quality standard. The Superb yarn was chosen for its turf. Superb is the heaviest duty yarn from CCGrass, with a dtex (yarn weight) much heavier than most synthetic grass fibres. This allows a softer feel without compromising on performance.

Durability
But it is in the durability where VV Scharn will really see the benefit. The industry test standard, known as the Lisport Test, artificially wears the surface, and a good product would be expected to achieve 100,000 cycles. CCGrass's Superb yarn has already passed 250,000 cycles and is showing no sign of wearing out. CCGrass back this up with a 12 years warranty, unheard of in the synthetic turf world. The Product Manager of CCGrass explains: 'All our tests and experience show the Superb yarn lasts incredibly well. So, for VV Scharn, it is the perfect choice, and we back this up with a lengthy warranty.'

VV Scharn's new pitch was installed by CCGrass local partner, Top Sport & Groen, and will be used by the club's 49 teams. CCGrass Netherlands Sales Manager, Nimo Chen commented: 'Football is such a popular sport and every player deserves to play on the best artificial grass surface. As clubs don't want to replace their pitches too often, it is important that they are given the best value surface, balancing playing performance, durability and cost.'
